This Privacy Policy applies to the HRIS Mobile application ("App") operated by the Sri Lanka Telecom Services Limited, Sri Lanka. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

• Employee Details : National ID number, date of birth, gender, religion, civil status, nationality, Permanent/current address, personal file number, Mobile number, residence phone, personal email, office email, emergency contact name/number
• Operational Data : attendance/movement history, leave requests (with reason/dates), Leave-request supporting documents, approvals, assigned assets, merchandise/work requests, employee ID/role, exam results, job duty, disciplinary/evaluation records
• Location Data : Real-time GPS coordinates

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate employee identity and manage access.
• To process attendance, leave requests, and administrative workforce management.
• To maintain app functionality, performance logging, and security debugging.

Sharing of Information

• SLTS does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes.
• Allowed authorized SLTS administrators and staff to access your data for relevant operations

Data Retention & Security

Security : We prioritize the security of our workforce data. All communications between the mobile application and our servers are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) / Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology. Access to employee data within the app and admin portal is restricted to authorized credentials protected by password authentication and role-based access control (RBAC).

Data Retention : Employee data is retained as long as the employee account remains active within the SLTS, or as necessary to comply with applicable employment laws and internal compliance requirements. When data is no longer legally required or relevant for operations, it is permanently deleted or anonymized.

Your Rights

As a SLTS Employee, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information SLTS holds about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Object to the processing of your data for certain purposes

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
